Inside Sales Executive “HUNTER” :

The Charter Inside-Sales person will be responsible for identifying revenue opportunities within assigned accounts and their community through communications, programs, and other activities as well as issuing quotes to clients, communicating with clients, and articulating the company’s capabilities to clients.

Work successfully as a team member to collaborate with business development, marketing, and advertising to ensure a successful launch campaign. The inside-sales person acts as liaison for internal & external communications with managing relationships of assigned accounts and potential new accounts. The individual selected will operate from our San Francisco California Headquarters.

Inside-Sales Responsibilities:

  • Quoting transportation costs to current & potential clients in a timely fashion
  • Follow up on sale leads
  • Gathering details and itineraries from clients to be updated from our dispatcher
  • Inside-sales requires communicating with clients through various communication systems via email, text, phone, etc.
  • On-Site & Special Sales Events Participation expected


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience of inside-sales in the transportation field or related to the industry is required
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent and at least 3 years of proven inside-sales success in transportation exceeding targets
  • Travel & tourism related experience is preferred
  • Ability to travel as inside-sales business needs dictate
  • Flexibility of weekly schedule including nights and weekends
  • Ability to participate in evening/weekend networking & industry events as need
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience in Adobe Acrobat
  • Transportation Experience Strongly encouraged
